AL SCORCH

Sun. Nov. 23 - 7:00 pm - All ages - BUY TICKETS HERE!
AL SCORCH - listen
Grafting literate, character-driven song craft and Mid-American roots with a post-punk DIY attitude, Chicago-based songwriter, performer and instrumentalist Al Scorch charts a new musical topography with a five-string banjo.
DITCHES (members of Sweet Cobra, Canadian Rifle, and Pillars And Tongues)
Mistakes are best when repeated perpetually until death.
ANNIE STRONG (of This Is My Fist)
"I'm a guitar-playing, dog-kissing (on the mouth), beer-drinking, vet tech with a knack for bumping into stuff, getting hurt, and tripping over things. (The name "Anne" means full of grace!) Also, I've had an extreme crush on Christopher Guest since I was about 11 years old. My favorite movie scene of all times is in Rushmore. When Bill Murray knocks the basketball away from those stupid kids. I'm afraid to drive cars. If I had to count, I think I've had my finger in well over a thousand dog asses in the last 7 years. I find my thirties to be delightful."

DOG & WOLF

Mon. Nov. 24 - 8:00 pm - 21+ - BUY TICKETS HERE!
DOG & WOLF
Captivating. Original. Sober. None of these are words to describe Chicago punk trio Dog & Wolf.
BEAT THE SMART KIDS
Beat The Smart Kids is the product of local ska punk veterans banding together to deliver music to your ears. Fresh and hot. With former and current members of Waste Basket, The Indecisives, Still Alive, and The Damn Tracks you can be sure to find catchy horn riffs, gravely vocals, and a driving punk sensibility.
NOT HALF BAD - listen
We're a band from Fort Worth, TX that plays Energetic Dirty Folk/Punk focused on eating tacos, sticking it to the man, having a good time, calling out big brother, being progressive, remaining non-complacent, telling overly crude, bringing the turbulence, and playing too many shows.
KRAYOLA - listen
You couldn't pay me to go back to high school but i sure as hell will sing songs about it.

THE SINGLES

Tue. Nov. 25 - 8:00 pm - 21+ - BUY TICKETS HERE!
THE SINGLES - listen
THE SINGLES are Vincent Frederick (guitar/lead vocals) and Nicky Veltman (drums/back-up vocals). Hints of garage rock, power pop, glam, blues, and punk all find their way into the music. Both originally from Detroit, the two joined forces in LA in 2012 to restart The Singles—a moniker that Vince had used in the past to release his songs with different incarnations of the band.
MR. MA'AM - listen
Mr. Ma'am was created in the spring of 2013 by drummer/vocalist Frankie Mars Gunner, and guitarist/vocalist Andy Ryan (formerly of The Day Lewis). Blending punk and blues creating a style and genre the two members prefer to call "sex punk."
ROACH BEACH (members of Catfish Haven, Remaindermen, Lord) - listen
Roach Beach is a bastardized homage to the bands they grew up listening too, Naked Raygun, Motorhead, The Descendants, and Judas Priest. For the sake of labeling you could call it stoner punk; fast, thrashy, and explosive but sludgy and dreary when necessary. Oddly, the songs evoke pop sensibility while maintaining a garage ethos rooted in punk and metal.
JOLLY KOREA - listen
Jolly Korea is a 5 piece rock group from Chicago, IL. They are fronted by Eugene Kalsted, dual guitar work supplied by Peter Nafziger and Kevin Kalal, Roger Connelly on bass guitar, and Matt Nafziger behind the drum kit.

KEPI ELECTRIC
Kepi (from Groovie Ghoulies) + Mean Jeans (shredders that know how to party from Portland) play the songs of The Groovie Ghoulies and More!
MEAN JEANS - listen
Three punk rock goofballs who deliver fast, loud, and hooky tunes and revel in the pleasures of pizza, sex, and getting wasted, Mean Jeans have become one of the better-known bands on the Pacific Northwest punk scene for their sloppy but relentless attack, raucous live shows, and fierce commitment to the art of partying.
THE LEMONS
The Lemons are a pretty new band from Chicago. The Lemons all play in other bands but they decided to start a band together because otherwise The Lemons wouldn't exist. The Lemons have songs with names like "Jelly Bean", "Monkey Time", "Chubby Checker" and "Ice Cream Shop". So if you like bands who would have song titles like those, you'll probably like The Lemons.

THE HAMBURGLARS

Fri. Nov. 28 - 8:00 pm - 21+ -
THE HAMBURGLARS - listen
Robble Robble! The Hamburglars live up to their name. Stripes and all!
HOT DOG ATTACKER
Four weiner-loving Midwestern dudes play dirty punk rock.
CHICAGO STYLE WEENIES - listen
You can go to New York for pizza or you can go to Philadelphia for cheesesteak, but everyone knows you come to Chicago for a heapin’ weenie. Don’t let the cute name delude you, though; no fillers or by-products make their way into Chicago Style Weenies’ songs. We offer a humorous outlook on our surroundings, but the Weenies don’t tread lightly in voicing our opinions. The government sucks, entropy is king, and daytime TV has run amok. These are serious issues, and the Weenies intend to get to the bottom of them. No, we’re not running for any public office - but we most certainly will desecrate all of them through our brand of punk-rock crooners.
THE KREUTZER SONATA - listen
Punk rock with a heavy heart. Destroying all our dead ends, always fighting through the entropy.

HARM WÜLF

Sat. Nov. 29 - 6:00 pm - All ages - BUY TICKETS HERE!
HARM WÜLF - listen
Harm Wülf is the bedroom musical entity of G. Hirsch, known for his moving lyrical and vocal contributions in Philadelphia's Blacklisted. Harm Wülf's debut album is a collection of songs which touch upon the dark and rustic themes of solitude and aging disappointment. Inspired by a wide range of artists: from the tranquil resonance of Low, rhythmic acoustic strumming of Strength Through Joy and the ascending power of Angels Of Light, to the insular, grotesque Americana of Cormac McCarthy and Flannery O'connor. Most times sparse and austere, others apocalyptically orchestrated, Harm Wülf has the sound of something long since missing.
DIVIDED HEAVEN - listen
Youngblood, the second Divided Heaven full length, marks an arrival. What started as a solo project for Jeff Berman while studying in Europe ten years, tens of thousands of miles, and many sing-alongs ago has come to fruition, both for Berman and his loyal fans. This sophomore effort, produced by Charlie Stavish (Imagine Dragons, Ryan Adams) showcases a resounding progression in style and dynamic that introduces, for the first time, Divided Heaven as a full band.
MIGHTY SHIPS - listen
Mighty Ships is a Post-Rock/Emo outfit based out of both Aurora and Normal, Illinois. Originally formed as a solo project during the summer of 2013, Mighty Ships became a collaboration between Tyler Bachman and Harrison O'Brien in winter of the same year. Charlie Morrison was added on drums shortly after.

EAGLES OF LOMBARD

Sun. Nov. 30 - 8:00 pm - 21+ - BUY TICKETS HERE!
EAGLES OF LOMBARD
The Eagles of Lombard are awesome. They are a convocation of righteous rockers who thrash in the style of Chicago's favorite punk legends like the Vindictives, Apocalypse Hoboken, and Bread. They are much more of eagles than any other band, ever. Bear witness as they soar on wings of majesty, flying at impossible velocities through hits like “Osama Bin Laden,” “Cherry Red,” and “I Am A Worm”. Watch with tears of American pride as they debut their latest masterpiece, “Eat Shit.” Prepare your American ears for a sonic injection of birds-of-prey-triotism.

FUCK YOU, IDIOT - listen
Fuck You, Idiot is Jonathan, Kate, Kyle and Miles, and only goes by "FYI" in inter-band text messages, so don't forget. Born out of a common disdain for self-appointed scene icons in the winter of 2013, they play straight ahead summertime pop punk jams all year round. The name is a message to all the dolts whose dumb opinions are only outweighed by their irrelevance, and the songs are for the people who still give a shit. Death to false punk! Kinda like Manowar, but not really.
BORN ON JEFFREYS (featuring members of No Two Waynes, 40oz Sidekicks and Dave + Jesus) - listen
Born On Jeffreys is a drunk band from Chicago, IL. I mean a punk band, we’re like totally punk.

YOU.

NYC post-punk outfit YOU. may have a heart that beats for Detroit (vocalist and founding member Trever Millay and synth/drum programmer Brad Taormina both hail from there), but the soul of their music stretches far beyond the Midwest. Sunchaser is their third record, and first for Dais, and also their first to feature their expanded lineup of guitarist Scott Kiernan and bassist Lee Lichtsinn.
GAMMA WORLD
Gamma World are a sci-fi-punk band from Columbus, OH.
POPULATION (members of No Slogan & Ultratumbados) - listen
Emerging as a new direction from key members of Chicago’s Pilsen hardcore scene, comes the starkly contrasted Population, seeping out of the darkness with a pummeling morosity, frantic Factory Records hooks, and the grim misery of drowning while dreaming. What comes out is an impeccable specimen of jarring post punk force, met with melodic flourishes and kept in time with a furious rhythm pulling you deeper into their irresistible web. Just as how Christian Death uniquely emerged from shards of the California hardcore community over 30 years ago, this tightly-wound unit delves deep into the early 80s underworld, artfully intertwining tenebrous synth lines with desolate bass runs to form a monolithic, impenetrable coldness that always hits the spot, even in the dead of winter.
NEW CANYONS - listen
New Canyons are a duo Electronic/Shoegaze band based out of Chicago, IL. Teetering on genres of Shoegaze, Dreampop, Electronic, Ambient, & Noise.

DASTARDLY

Mon. Dec. 08 - 8:00 pm - 21+ - BUY TICKETS HERE!
DASTARDLY - listen
The marriage between old west folk and the ambiguous genre of “indie rock” makes the songs of Dastardly a palatable playlist for those who aren’t normally attracted to cowboy crooners. In fact, by the sound of the screaming girls heard at Subterranean, we’re pretty sure the band was responsible for converting quite a few pop princesses into banjo loving broads. Experimental enough to feel fresh but traditional enough to feel familiar even to first timers, Dastardly is band that asserted itself as notable early in the game and now can enjoy the steady rise to local fame they’re guaranteed. ---reviewsic.com
JAIME ROJO - listen
Jaime Rojo is the wild child of Jim Drake. Backed by members of Brother George, Elephant Gun, Jon Drake and The Shakes and Chicken Happen, the four member outfit makes a hot fuss with a tight sound. Dwelling between innocence and modern living, Jaime Rojo's music is bred in the wild and cut for the city.

After collaborating for just under nine months, Fletcher has gained a reputation around Chicago and beyond.
STOOP GOODNOISE
Stoop Goodnoise, A band building, wrecking, and rebuilding again as they lead the way in the new Chicago Rock & Roll scene. Chicago has always been a city of collided cultures coming together to form something amazing and there is no band that encapsulates this like Stoop Goodnoise. A facepunch of 90's grunge fury, punk choruses, and intergalactic guitar solos. One part Chicago street kids, one part classic rock phenoms, but all one original sound that can not be missed, that can not be ignored, that cannot be stopped.

PERFECT KISS
Captivating new wave revivalist band Perfect Kiss mold edgy sensuality with electric dance beats to create a sound not heard since The Cure, Depeche Mode and other 80’s heavy-hitters. Their cutting edge style instantly allowed them to share the stage with national names such as, VHS or Beta, Felix Da Housecat, Green Velvet, Major Lazer and White Mystery. Less than a year after their formation the group was playing North Coast Music Festival and multiple Lollapalooza after parties including the Hard Rock Hotel’s highly publicized event. Recently selected as one of the Top Bands in Chicago by Do312, Perfect Kiss has established themselves as one of the most respected artists in the scene.
CARRIED BY CURRENTS

GHASTLY MENACE - listen
"The Chicago outfit Ghastly Menace may sound like a dangerous and motley crew, but the name belies the band’s indie-pop slant. Their songs are crunchy, but delicate – lo-fi indie pop with a little bit of a bite in it."
-Eight Forty-Eight on Chicago Public Radio
INSPECTOR OWL - listen
"Bursting with dancey rhythms, hooky keyboards and epic, soaring choruses...Inspector Owl seem poised on the brink of something huge" -Northern Star
BRONTOSAURUS - listen
There might not be a duo these days - in Chicago or elsewhere - making as big of a noise as Brontosaurus. The pair of Nicholas Kelley and Nicholas Papaleo formed Brontosaurus as an outlet for their often pretty, often eerie powerful pop constructions. Drawing inspiration from a variety of sources as well as their varied musical upbringing (classical/indie rock/metal/prog), Brontosaurus performs their songs using all 8 limbs, often at the same time, as well as intertwining their distinct voices to create a unique and and entertaining live experience. Brontosaurus' debut LP, Cold Comes To Claim, released in 2011 on the revered Chicago label Plus Tape owes as much to the sound and feel of Tin Pan Alley as it does to the Pacific Northwest of the late nineties. Cold Comes To Claim runs the gamut - from sweeping grandeur to math-induced freak-outs. The duo has been touring throughout the U.S. in support of Cold Comes To Claim and has shared the stage with Maps & Atlases, Speedy Ortiz, Des Ark, Maserati, and Owen to name a few.

KANGAROO - listen
Kangaroo play noisy-garagey-indie-rock-pop... or something like that.
COUGAR ISLAND - listen
There's an island in Chicago... one littered with crushed beer cans and the smell of something dangerously familiar... from the smoke-covered beach, the jangle of a lost surf guitar can be heard reverberating along with deep, dark bass riffs, primitive drumming, and echoing harmonies... some say the sounds may have originated long ago in an abandoned garage, others say they have heard it more recently, coming from the cracked window of a fuzzy basement... but they all agree, it came from COUGAR ISLAND.
THE TROLLS
Crafted with the elegance and grace of Guy Fieri writing a futuristic robot sequel to “Les Miserables,” The Trolls have arrived. Ham-fisted Chicago garage rock born out of boredom, blood and basements.

Gardens is a four piece fresh on the Chicago music scene and they are going in hard and without reservation.
ARMSLENGTH - listen
The guys in Cincinnati, Ohio quintet, Armslength, get their name from a Moving Mountains song. The pop-punk/rock outfit are not idolaters, however. Armslength just appreciate the scene that has nurtured them to the point where they are at now (which is at the brink of breaking though). Armslength may not be flashy, but the guys make music that is honest and pointed; basically, everything you want from a pop-punk band.

THE MOOSE - listen
The Moose consists of two brothers, Mitch and Matt Bellock and their close friend, Dave Catanese. Mitch and Matt have been creating music together since early childhood, but spent their adolescence in various bands and musical projects. Their decision to come together and form The Moose began as an experimental jam session and spent about two years as an object of procrastination before finally becoming a serious musical endeavor in early 2012. It was soon after their debut E.P. was released that May that the brothers brought Dave Catanese in to play the part of a stage drummer. Dave had been a good friend of theirs since the first grade, and after showing off his energetic and creative drum skills in a couple metal and pop-punk bands during high school, he became a clear first choice for The Moose. He was originally told he was strictly brought in to be a “stage musician,” but the musical chemistry between Dave and the Bellock brothers was strong enough to justify altering the band’s style to include a drummer full-time. In December 2012, the group released a full length album (Greens). The album had little success as far as sales were concerned, but merited a very positive feedback from the bands small following at the time. With a rapidly growing fan base, The Moose released another short EP (Hooligans) in early 2014 after promoting the release while opening for national acts and experienced much more success than Greens had brought them. The releases won’t stop there, as they work tirelessly in rehearsal spaces and recording studios to bring their joy of creation to their fans.

Wed. Dec. 31 - 9:00 pm - 21+ - BUY TICKETS HERE!
INDIGO SUN - listen
IndigoSun is an emerging trio of musicians from Chicago making waves in the Midwest scene. Playing a collage of styles we have dubbed Healing Dance Music, IndigoSun combines catchy melodies and booty-moovin’ beats with a positive intention and ever-expanding musical boundaries. Through our music, we seek to bring joy and healing to our audiences, and to build a community of acceptance and unconditional love. The past few years the band has built a Midwestern fan base, greatly helped by the their "secret sets" in the woods at Summer Camp Music Festival, Since 2010, they have set up in the forest at that festival and played late nights for all the people who didn't hold tickets to the Red Barn, with great success; it's become a bit of a legend amongst Summer Camp goers.
GENOME - listen
With a sound born out of the combination of funk roots with jazz and electronic music, Genome has been impressing audiences with their tight sound and getting them on the dance floor with infectious grooves. Undeniable and unrelenting, Drew Littell, Patrick Dinnen, and Asif Wilson form a rhythm section that will not be stopped. Coupled with the stylings of multi-instrumentalist Xavier Galdon, saxophonist Kyle Madsen, and guitarist Igor Voltchenko, the lush sounds of Genome will have you partying all night long!
WOO PARK - listen
Woo Park is a force to be reckoned with. Their harmonies create a psychedelic atmosphere, allowing you to get lost in time, while their soulful hooks help to keep your feet planted firm on the ground. With less than a year of work under their belt, Woo has already begun to make a name for themselves in Chicago's music scene. They are truly an assault from all sides with such a wide variety of musical upbringings. This diversity helps to create a colorful marriage of styles, while their shared passion to create new music functions as the glue holding it all together.
